The SBL advertises a wide range of employment opportunities as Solicitors firms, Barristers Chambers and various public and private sector organisations request.

If there are any vacancies we become aware of that may be of interest to members we will endeavour to post them in this section.

INTERNSHIP APPLICATION

Mini pupillages, Judicial Shadowing and Work Experience

This is only open to SBL members who are logged in to our site. For student members and qualified lawyers we will use our best endeavours to obtain a placement on the basis that this cannot be guaranteed but is subject to availability form existing member of the profession.

We may in some instances refer you to a sister organisation that has better contacts in your chosen field. We will endeavour to provide a response within 7 days of receiving such a request from a member. Applications should be accompanied by a CV.

Internships

The SBL seeks to provide internships both within the organisation and with sister organisations, especially in the international arena. These posts are generally unpaid and depend on availability. SBL internships and recommended referrals are only open to SBL members.

Such referrals are subject to negotiation with sister organisations and can take some time to arrange, especially in the international field. We will endeavour to reply to all such requests within 7 days of receiving an application from a member.
