At SBL, we understand that the concerns and aspirations of ethnic minority lawyers and legal professionals centre very much around career enhancement and progress. SBL can serve as a community, national and international platform for its professional members.

Our history and work is such that on issues of discrimination, criminal justice, equal opportunities and human rights. As a result, we are frequently asked to sit on committees, representative bodies, working groups and task forces. These opportunities are passed on to our professional members who wish to represent the SBL. Getting involved as an SBL representative provides career enhancement, access and networking opportunities.
